Dr. Erica R. Breeden was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School in 1995, completed her undegraduate studies at the University of New Orleans, and attended LSU SVM to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with the Class of 2002. After receiving her DVM, Dr. Breeden married her husband, Bo Breeden and moved to Greenville, Mississippi. She practiced small animal medicine, surgery and emergency care for two years as an associate at Greenville Animal Clinic. In June of 2004, she and her husband decided to move closer to home and take up residence in Hammond. She accepted an associate position at Animal Care Center, along side her classmate and friend, Dr. Kate S. Adams and practiced there for five years.

Dr. Breeden is a member of both the AVMA and LVMA. Her special interests include canine and feline internal medicine, senior wellness and preventative care, and dermatology. In her free time she enjoys gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband Bo have two children, Amelia and Henry. Her four-legged children include cats Sophie and Sarah White, and rescued dog Annie.
